Fast: In racing it's the best
Matt: The best in all of us

    Matthew was hit by a car on Harvard in Roseburg July 9th, 1996. Matthew was taken way to early from us. Parents are suppose to go before their children in this case this was not so.

    We started racing in 2003 when Dan's dad introduced him to the Dwarf Car's. Dan of course with the love of racing wanted to race but didn't just want to do it he wanted to race for a reason. So we started Fast Matt Racing. Dan and Luke both race for Matthew because he can't and would of loved it. Matthew only new one way in life full throttle all the way. Fear was not apart of his vocabulary. 

    Matthew lived a very full life he was a child with an old spirit, he would make you laugh so hard you would cry, he would lift your spirit when you were down. He had a heart of gold, I remember one time I had this terrible headache for ten days and one day when driving the kids home from school he told his sister's and brother to be very quite because mom didn't feel good. But he also had a terrible temper he would get even with his siblings by 
hiding  in the bushes with a golf club and jump out at the other kids as they road there motorcycles down the path and hit them with the golf club. Matthew loved playing football, was of Boy Scout Pack 235 and loved to play the trumpet. I know if Matthew was here he would be racing very hard and going for the win each and every time. But all in all he was a very loving child that will always be very missed.
